My series is about vampires

I know, I know, vampires are everywhere. The world needs another vampire series like it needs another love song. I've been a vampire freak since I was 13, though. I love my story. I love my characters. I want to write these books. In the time it has taken me to write this short post, I'm sure at least three songwriters have finished their new love songs. So, I'm going to finish my vampire books. :-)

I'm writing a YA series

I finally baked the overall storyline for my YA paranormal series. I'm working on book one now. When the plot and characters connect in your mind, it is a fabulous feeling. It is hard getting to that point, but it's worth it. To energize me for the long write ahead, I created my cover concepts and wrote blurbs. I like having these in front of me. They remind me that I'm working on real books.

I'm a real writer now

Welcome to my new blog. All writers need a blog, right? And a Twitter account? If that's true, then I'm a real writer now.

Introductory posts seem a bit cheesy, kind of like my Photo Booth profile pic. Like most writers, I love reading. Young adult books are my favorite, and I plan to post YA book reviews on this blog. I'd like to help spread the word about authors I like. I want to tell you about my books, too, as soon as they are published. That's my cue to sign off and work on my novel.
